Lethrinops sp. "Boadzulu" "Boadzulu Island" is the Boadzulu Island population of Lethrinops sp. "Boadzulu", a geographic colour form from the Malawi coast of Lake Malawi in the southern part of the lake. It is the same species as Lethrinops sp. "Boadzulu", distinguished by its collection locality and local coloration; aquarists keep and breed it as a discrete, provenance-labelled line.

About the species
Lethrinops sp. "Boadzulu" is an undescribed sand-dwelling cichlid recorded at Boadzulu Island, near the southern end of Lake Malawi, and named simply for that locality. It has no formal description, authority, or FishBase entry, and is known only by this trade name; the area around Boadzulu Island is a well-documented reef for several other Lake Malawi cichlids, described and undescribed alike, but this form's own relationships within Lethrinops have not been resolved.
