Pseudotropheus sp. "Aggressive Yellow Fin" "Chizumulu Island" is the Chizumulu Island population of Pseudotropheus sp. "Aggressive Yellow Fin", a geographic colour form from the Malawi coast of Lake Malawi in the central part of the lake. It is the same species as Pseudotropheus sp. "Aggressive Yellow Fin", distinguished by its collection locality and local coloration; aquarists keep and breed it as a discrete, provenance-labelled line.

About the species
Pseudotropheus sp. "Aggressive Yellow Fin" is an undescribed mbuna cichlid from the rocky waters around Chizumulu Island in central Lake Malawi. Its trade name places it in the "Aggressive" group of field-recognised Pseudotropheus forms noted for combative temperament even by the standards of an already pugnacious genus, distinguished here from grey-bodied relatives elsewhere in the lake by yellow-toned fins. It has never been given a scientific name; no authority, IUCN status, or FishBase entry should be attached to it.
