Pseudotropheus sp. "Three Peaks" "Three Peaks Reef" is the Three Peaks Reef population of Pseudotropheus sp. "Three Peaks", a geographic colour form from the Malawi coast of Lake Malawi in the southern part of the lake. It is the same species as Pseudotropheus sp. "Three Peaks", distinguished by its collection locality and local coloration; aquarists keep and breed it as a discrete, provenance-labelled line.

About the species
Pseudotropheus sp. "Three Peaks" is an undescribed mbuna recorded from Three Peaks Reef, a rocky site in the southern part of Lake Malawi near the Nankumba Peninsula. Its trade name is taken directly from the reef itself rather than describing the fish's colour or form. It has no describing author, no FishBase page and no IUCN assessment.
