Tor sattalensis is a mahseer described in 2026 from Sattal Lake, a cluster of spring-fed lakes in the Nainital District of Uttarakhand in the Indian Himalaya. It was described by Shahi, Sarma, Singh, Haldar, Posti, Mallik, Riyaz and Dutta and placed in the genus Tor — the true mahseers, among the largest and most prized freshwater fish of South Asian rivers — making it one of relatively few Tor species whose type locality is a lake rather than a flowing river channel.
