Dan's Fish sells this fish as the "Nuha Village Halfbeak" and files it under Nomorhamphus. This is an undescribed form: its identity and range are not documented in the atlas's sources. The trade name is a collection locality.
Morphology
The listing carries no description. Nomorhamphus are live-bearing halfbeaks in which the lower jaw is elongated into a beak in most species, and males carry a modified anal fin used in mating (genus-level).
Habitat
The seller states no origin beyond the village name. Nuha is a place name in the Malili lakes area of South Sulawesi, Indonesia, where several Nomorhamphus occur; Nomorhamphus as a genus are halfbeaks mostly of Sulawesi streams (genus-level).
