The site
The Kala Archipelago comprises six islands — Kalala, Mikongolo, Nausingili, Maleza, Singa and Kala — with Maleza Hill visible in the background from the site.
An underwater ridge runs about 500 metres north from the island's northern side to Kala Island, connecting the underwater habitats of the two islands.
Each entry below is the population of that species recorded here — the form aquarists keep and breed as a distinct, provenance-labelled line. Crossing forms from different collection points is considered hybridisation in the hobby.
