About the species
Labidochromis sp. "Likomae" is an undescribed rock-dwelling cichlid recorded from Maingano Island, part of the Likoma archipelago in the eastern basin of Lake Malawi. Its trade name echoes that island group; the archipelago already hosts a documented locality form of the described Labidochromis freibergi at the same island. It carries no authority, no year, and no FishBase entry.
