Labidochromis sp. "Lividus Mozambique" is an undescribed Labidochromis recorded from Cobwe, a locality on Lake Malawi’s eastern shore historically associated with Mozambique. Its trade name pairs “Lividus,” after the described Labidochromis lividus (Lewis, 1982), with a broad geographic tag, signalling a resemblance to that species rather than a confirmed identification.
