This is an undescribed form: no scientific name, authority or type material stands behind it, and its identity and range are not documented in the sources the atlas uses. "Cenepa" is a locality label. Imperial Tropicals describes it as one of the newer pencilfish, first exported in 2022.
Morphology
Imperial Tropicals describes mature fish as almost completely cherry red in proper conditions, usually with black horizontal bars along the upper and lower body and through the eye, which heavy red colour can almost hide.
Habitat
The label names Cenepa; the seller's excerpt gives no further data. Nannostomus are small fishes of slow, vegetated waters in tropical South America (genus-level).
Feeding
Nannostomus are small-mouthed fish that take tiny live and prepared foods (genus-level); this form's diet is not documented.
Mating
Spawning of this form is not documented. Nannostomus scatter eggs among fine plants (genus-level).
