Not exhaustive — some updates are not yet captured. The Catalog records 217 new species for 2026 so far; species outside the atlas’s freshwater scope are not listed here. Name-change entries show two dates: when the revision was published, and when this atlas adopted the current name — most adoptions are the atlas catching up with older revisions (marked “catch-up”), not taxonomy that changed this year.
