Pollimyrus tumifrons is a small mormyrid described by George Albert Boulenger in 1902 and placed in Pollimyrus, a genus of weakly electric African fishes known as dwarf stonebashers. Pollimyrus tumifrons was described by the Belgian-born British ichthyologist George Albert Boulenger in 1902.
