Kerenge Island is the largest of eight islands in Tanzania's Kipili Archipelago on Lake Tanganyika's eastern shore, about 1 km east-north-east of Kasisi Island.

Kerenge Village, on the island's eastern side, is the archipelago's main fishing community. Site photographs group Kerenge with neighbouring islands in the same stretch of the archipelago, including Kasisi, Kamamba, Mwila, Nkondwe, Mvuna, Lupita, and Ulwile.
Each entry below is the population of that species recorded here — the form aquarists keep and breed as a distinct, provenance-labelled line. Crossing forms from different collection points is considered hybridisation in the hobby.
