Morphology
Dan's Fish says many keepers consider it the most attractive corydoradine, with a highly contrasting black-on-white pattern.
Habitat
The listing gives no collection locality or habitat. No range is documented in the atlas.
Feeding
Corydoradines are bottom-feeding omnivores that sift sand with their barbels (genus-level); no diet is documented for this form.
Mating
Like other corydoradines, the group spawns in the T-position, the female carrying eggs in her pelvic fins before sticking them to a surface. Spawning of this form is not documented.
Breeding
Dan's Fish sells it as aquarium bred and raised. The atlas holds no spawning details.
In the aquarium
Dan's Fish lists shipped fish at 0.75 to 1 inch (about 1 in) and an adult size of around 1.5 to 2 inches (about 1.5–2 in). It says most corydoradines are peaceful community fish. Like other corydoradines, they do best on sand they can sift, and in a group. These size figures are the seller's.
Conservation
