Oryzias landangiensis is a ricefish from the upper Cerekang River drainage in South Sulawesi, described in 2022 from Landangi hamlet. FishBase gives a maximum of 1.5 in SL.

Taxonomy & naming

Utama, Yamahira and colleagues described the species in 2022 from Landangi hamlet, Matano village, Luwu Timur. The name refers to the hamlet.

A small ricefish; FishBase gives a maximum of 1.5 in SL.

Habitat

The upper Cerekang River drainage in Luwu Timur, South Sulawesi, near the Malili lakes.
