Domwe Island is an island off Lake Malawi's Malawian shore, about 2 km north-north-east of Cape Maclear.

The site
The island appears in a photograph together with Thumbi West and Mumbo Islands (taken from Otter Point), and separately in photographs taken from Chembe and Zimbawe Rock. The Ilala Gap lies between Domwe and the mainland, and one photograph captions the island's east side as the "Back Side."
