The site
The site's location page notes a village about 1 km south of the marker on the Mozambique side, recorded there as "Border Village" — a working name the photographer credits rather than the settlement's actual name. N'tendele Lodge lies about 1.3 km to the north-northwest, and Gome and Gome Rocks lie about 3 km south on the Malawi side.
Each entry below is the population of that species recorded here — the form aquarists keep and breed as a distinct, provenance-labelled line. Crossing forms from different collection points is considered hybridisation in the hobby.
