Kekese is a small inlet between rocks on Tanzania's Lake Tanganyika shore, about 22 km north of Ikola.

The site
The inlet is one of the few places along an 80-km stretch of otherwise exposed coast that offers shelter from the open lake and the north wind known locally as Kaskazi.
