Pseudotropheus sp. "Kingsizei Tumbi" has no describing author, no year of publication, and no FishBase entry. It circulates under the informal trade name "kingsizei" — an allusion to unusually large adult size — combined with its own recorded locality, Tumbi Point, to distinguish it from other kingsizei-tagged populations recorded elsewhere in the lake. The "kingsizei" tag is not unique to this genus placement: this atlas separately documents "Kingsizei Lupingu" and "Kingsizei Masimbwe" populations catalogued under Maylandia, while the Tumbi Point population is catalogued under Pseudotropheus in the field database used here. That split placement most plausibly reflects inconsistent genus assignment across hobby and field sources for a group of large-growing mbuna sharing a trade name, rather than a confirmed taxonomic finding that this specific population belongs in a different genus from its Lupingu and Masimbwe counterparts; no formal comparison between them is available to us.
Morphology
The defining trait recorded in this form's trade name is size: field and hobby accounts describe "kingsizei" populations as notably large for a Pseudotropheus, plausibly exceeding the roughly 3–5 in typical of most of the genus. Beyond that size claim, no detailed published colour or pattern account exists specific to the Tumbi Point population, and this article does not speculate about markings or dichromatism it cannot confirm. It is presumed to carry the standard mbuna body plan otherwise: a moderately elongate, laterally compressed body with the robust dentition typical of an algae-grazing rock cichlid.
Habitat
This form is recorded from Tumbi Point on the Mozambican shore of Lake Malawi, a locality also on record in this atlas for several other mbuna and haplochromine species, indicating a well-collected and diverse rocky reef. Like other Pseudotropheus, it is expected to occupy rocky habitat, holding territory among boulders and crevices typical of the genus. No depth record specific to this population has been published, so the ranges given here follow the genus-typical envelope. Water conditions match the lake generally: warm, hard and strongly alkaline.
Feeding
Pseudotropheus is, genus-wide, an aufwuchs grazer, rasping algae, diatoms and associated micro-organisms from rock surfaces with specialised bicuspid-to-tricuspid teeth. No feeding study specific to "Kingsizei Tumbi" has been published, but this dietary pattern is close to universal across the genus and is a reasonable basis for care. A larger-bodied fish, if the kingsizei size claim holds, would be expected to require a proportionally larger feeding territory than smaller congeners, though that has not been separately documented.

Keepers should follow standard Pseudotropheus husbandry: a large rockwork structure with plenty of caves and broken sightlines, hard, alkaline water in the range of roughly 75–82 °F and pH 7.7-8.6, and a vegetable-leaning, algae-based diet to avoid bloat. If the reported large adult size holds, this form would need meaningfully more swimming space and a bigger tank footprint than the genus-typical minimum used for smaller Pseudotropheus, though exact adult dimensions have not been independently confirmed.
Conservation
Pseudotropheus sp. "Kingsizei Tumbi" has no IUCN Red List assessment, since formal evaluation requires a validly published scientific name and none exists for this form.
